CMMi Level5 Initiative

Current Status:    Level 4a
Quality Goal:        Level 5

Notes:
a) Internal SCAMPI A (non-official review) measure IOTAP CMMi quality processes at level 4; i.e. 'Quantitatively Managed'. To minimize the cost and maximize the ROI of CMMi investment, IOTAP has decided to go for SCAMPI C (official review) for Level 5 directly. Expected date for completion is 2nd Quarter of 2009.
 
IOTAP CMMi Process Overview
IOTAP has had a commitment to achieve CMMi Level 5 since its inception.

During the process of 3.5 years, IOTAP has developed a quality framework which is automated and implemented via Sharepoint & InfoPath Technologies. Besides Engineering, these processes are implemented across HR, Finance & Marketing covering all aspects of our day to day business.

With the advent of Visual Studio 2008, IOTAP has further implemented certain processes of Test Automation which has resulted in decrease of 50% of defects over the last 3 months.
